A private jet charter is arranged, not bought from a shelf. You tell us the trip. We ask independent operators for an aircraft. You confirm a quote. The operator flies it.

What a charter broker does

MY PRIVATE JET is a charter broker and concierge in Sydney. We do not own or operate aircraft. The flight is operated by an independent operator, who has operational control.

In Australia the operator holds an Air Operator’s Certificate issued by CASA. On an international flight the operator holds the approval required by the authority for that operation. MY PRIVATE JET coordinates the journey around that flight.

The steps

The sequence is the same whether the trip is Melbourne for the day or Dubai at the end of the week.

You share the cities, the dates, the passengers and anything the cabin needs.
We ask certified operators for an aircraft that fits the route.
You receive a quote. It is an estimate until it is confirmed in writing.
You accept, and the operator accepts the flight. That is the booking, not the form on this website.
On the day, the operator’s crew flies. We stay with the ground details you asked us to arrange.

Broker and operator

The broker finds the aircraft and looks after the request. The operator employs the crew, maintains the aircraft and decides whether the flight goes. Those are different roles.

If a page on this site names a Phenom, a Challenger, a Falcon, a Gulfstream or a Global, it is naming a category we can ask for. It is not a list of aircraft we own.

What to have ready

Cities, dates, one way or return, and how many people are travelling. Catering, a car, and a pet belong in the notes. Passports and visas are yours to confirm. We will say if the route needs a permit for the aircraft.

How do I charter a private jet?

Share the cities, dates and passengers. MY PRIVATE JET asks independent certified operators for an aircraft. You receive a quote. If you accept it, and the operator accepts the flight, that is the booking.

The form on this website is the enquiry, not the contract. The operator flies the aircraft. We coordinate the details you asked for around that flight.

Is MY PRIVATE JET the operator of the flight?

No. MY PRIVATE JET is a charter broker and concierge. We do not own or operate aircraft. Every flight is operated by an independent operator, who has operational control.

In Australia the operator holds a CASA Air Operator’s Certificate. Outside Australia the operator holds the equivalent approval. The crew on the day work for the operator.

How far in advance should I book a private jet?

Many charters are arranged a few days to a few weeks ahead. A same-week departure is sometimes possible when an aircraft and crew are free, and a peak date needs longer. Nothing on this site is a guaranteed notice period.

A dedicated aviation advisor responds within one business hour. Concierge hours are Mon – Fri: 08:30 – 17:30. Saturday & Sunday: by appointment. VIP Elite, Corporate Partner and Family Office are membership accounts with their own coordination. An aircraft is still confirmed for each trip.

What happens after I enquire about a charter?
