Safety
How we select charter operators
Safety sits with the operator who flies the aircraft. Our role is to arrange charter only with independent operators who hold the certificate that flight requires.

Who operates the flight
MY PRIVATE JET is a charter broker and concierge in Sydney. We do not own or operate aircraft. The flight is operated by an independent operator, who has operational control.
We do not publish an operator list, an audit logo, or a safety score. If you want the operator’s name and certificate before you travel, ask. The advisor can discuss the operator proposed for that trip.
Australia, and flights that leave it
For a flight operated in Australia, we use an operator that holds a current Air Operator’s Certificate from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. The crew and the aircraft sit under that certificate. Operational decisions belong to the operator and the pilot in command.
When a flight is operated outside Australia, the operator must hold the equivalent approval from the authority responsible for that operation. We do not treat a marketing label as a substitute for that approval.
What we will not claim
We do not claim to hold an air operator’s certificate. We do not claim ARGUS, Wyvern, IS-BAO or any other audit badge. We do not claim that every flight meets a superlative we cannot show.
The practical standard is narrower, and it is the one we use: certified operators only, and a conversation about the specific aircraft before you confirm.
Before you travel
You can ask who the operator is, which certificate covers the flight, and which airport you will use. Weather, slots and the final go or no-go remain with the crew on the day.
Photography is representative. It does not show an aircraft owned or operated by MY PRIVATE JET.
QUESTIONS
Short answers first. Where a detail depends on the aircraft or the day, your advisor confirms it.
How do you approach safety and operators?
MY PRIVATE JET does not operate the aircraft. Flights are flown by independent operators. In Australia that is a holder of a current CASA Air Operator’s Certificate. Outside Australia, the operator holds the equivalent approval for that flight.
We do not publish an operator list, an audit badge or a safety score, and we do not claim ARGUS, Wyvern or IS-BAO. Ask the advisor who the operator is before you confirm. The go or no-go on the day belongs to the crew.
Is MY PRIVATE JET the operator of the flight?
No. MY PRIVATE JET is a charter broker and concierge. We do not own or operate aircraft. Every flight is operated by an independent operator, who has operational control.
In Australia the operator holds a CASA Air Operator’s Certificate. Outside Australia the operator holds the equivalent approval. The crew on the day work for the operator.
What is a CASA Air Operator’s Certificate?
In Australia, an Air Operator’s Certificate is the approval from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority under which an operator flies. The certificate covers the operator, not the broker who arranged the trip.
MY PRIVATE JET does not hold itself out as the certificate holder. If you want the operator’s name before you travel, ask your advisor.
What happens after I enquire about a charter?
Your enquiry goes to flymeaway@myprivatejet.com.au. A dedicated aviation advisor responds within one business hour.
Mon – Fri: 08:30 – 17:30. Saturday & Sunday: by appointment. The form does not create a booking, a contract of carriage, or an allocation of an aircraft. A price is an estimate until a formal quote confirms it.
