China
Sydney to Shanghai by private jet
Shanghai is the China corridor we are asked for first. Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are the same kind of flight, with different airports and different permits. The quote is for the city you name.

Airports in China
For Shanghai, the usual airports are Pudong (PVG / ZSPD) and Hongqiao (SHA / ZSSS). Beijing uses Capital (PEK / ZBAA) or Daxing (PKX / ZBAD). In the south, Guangzhou (CAN / ZGGG) and Shenzhen (SZX / ZGSZ) are the cities to name.
A foreign-registered aircraft generally needs a permit and a slot. That is arranged with the operator. It is not automatic, and it is not the same document as a passenger visa.
Time and category
Flight times on this page are approximate. They change with the aircraft, the winds and the routing, and they are not a schedule. Sydney to Shanghai is approximately 10 to 11 hours. Sydney to Beijing is longer. Heavy jets are described for direct Asia-Pacific routes. Ultra-long-range aircraft are the conversation when the city, the winds or the payload ask for more range.
A non-stop is common to discuss and is not a promise. Fuel stops, when they are needed, are part of the operator’s routing. There is no published Sydney–Shanghai fare.
Photography is representative. It does not show an aircraft owned or operated by MY PRIVATE JET.
The journey, plainly
MY PRIVATE JET is a charter broker and concierge in Sydney. We do not own or operate aircraft. The flight is operated by an independent operator, who has operational control.
Catering and a car can be arranged on request, subject to the operator and the airport. Cabin styling is the same: requested, not assumed.

QUESTIONS
Short answers first. Where a detail depends on the aircraft or the day, your advisor confirms it.
How long is a private jet from Sydney to Shanghai?
Approximately 10 to 11 hours. Beijing is longer. The time is approximate and is not a promise of a non-stop. Heavy and ultra-long-range aircraft are the categories to discuss, and a permit is usually required for the aircraft.
Shanghai uses Pudong (PVG) or Hongqiao (SHA). Beijing uses Capital (PEK) or Daxing (PKX). There is no published Sydney–Shanghai fare.
Which aircraft can I charter in Australia?
The charter categories published here are Light Jet (Embraer Phenom 300E / Citation CJ3+), Super-Midsize Jet (Bombardier Challenger 350 / Praetor 600), Heavy Jet (Dassault Falcon 7X / 900) and Ultra Long-Range Flagship (Gulfstream G650ER / Global 7500).
Light jets are described for regional Australian domestic routes and quick hops. Super-midsize jets are described for Trans-Tasman, Fiji and coast-to-coast flights. Heavy jets are described for direct Asia-Pacific routes with multi-zone comfort. Ultra long-range flagships are described for non-stop global transcontinental flying. Availability is subject to confirmation.
How far in advance should I book a private jet?
Many charters are arranged a few days to a few weeks ahead. A same-week departure is sometimes possible when an aircraft and crew are free, and a peak date needs longer. Nothing on this site is a guaranteed notice period.
A dedicated aviation advisor responds within one business hour. Concierge hours are Mon – Fri: 08:30 – 17:30. Saturday & Sunday: by appointment. VIP Elite, Corporate Partner and Family Office are membership accounts with their own coordination. An aircraft is still confirmed for each trip.
How do you approach safety and operators?
MY PRIVATE JET does not operate the aircraft. Flights are flown by independent operators. In Australia that is a holder of a current CASA Air Operator’s Certificate. Outside Australia, the operator holds the equivalent approval for that flight.
We do not publish an operator list, an audit badge or a safety score, and we do not claim ARGUS, Wyvern or IS-BAO. Ask the advisor who the operator is before you confirm. The go or no-go on the day belongs to the crew.
